World Education, Inc. (WEI) seeks candidates for various vacancies to provide technical support to the USAID funded Waache Wasome project implemented through In-school and Out-of-school interventions in Arusha region (Karatu District Council and Arusha City Council) and Mara region (Musoma District Council, Musoma Municipal Council and Tarime District Council). Waache Wasome project is rooted in the principle of putting girls at the center of creating their own agency, while addressing the intersectional social norms and economic barriers that impinge upon their ability to remain and excel in school.
The objectives of Waache Wasome project are as follows:
- Build the agency, knowledge, and protective assets of girls in secondary schools;
- Increase family commitment and capacity to invest in girls’ education;
- Foster a girl-friendly and supportive school environment;
- Provide alternative education pathways for girls who have dropped out of secondary school due to pregnancy, early marriage and/or economic hardships.

Job Description
The Technical Advisor for Implementation will play a key role in managing, coordinating and supervising the implementation of project interventions for all Districts under the project; ensure that all activities are properly and timely performed and that outputs are accomplished and delivered according to the agreed work plans; Lead and monitor the workplan progress and response to the specified activities and deliverables to ensure achievements are completed effectively and in a timely manner; Provide overall technical and managerial guidance and direction to the District Managers including enhancing effective communication and coordination to achieve agreed targets; Promote positive team environment among District and technical teams and ensure that subgrantees are effectively supported technically in implementation process; Provide lead support in documenting implemented project activities, tasks, achievements and success stories; under the guidance of the Country Director/Chief of Party, Promote sustainability of project activities with effective networking, coordination and linkages to other programs, partners and counterparts, etc.
Qualifications:
At least seven years of senior level experience designing, planning, coordinating and managing project implementation evaluation of community support programs; demonstrated experiences in leading a project technical team; experience in working with USAID – funded programs a plus; fluent in English and Kiswahili; Master’s Degree or higher in field relevant to fulfillment of the duties and responsibilities as described above.

The Communications Officer will support in the implementation of WEI’s communication strategy and work closely with District and technical team to ensure project documentation and reports are compiled and produced qualitatively and use communication tools to ensure high level of project successes’ visibility and documentation is achieved. Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant working experience in similar programs specifically in documentation & communications for development projects; significant experience working in international Non-governmental organizations, donors and government bodies preferred, Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, E-mail, Internet), tweeter and capable of multi-tasking; have a Master’s degree in mass communications/ journalism or other relevant fields.

Qualifications:
At least 3+ years’ experience in finance functions in USG-funded programs; an Advanced Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field with CPA/ACCA as an added advantage; ; proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office suite Word, Excel and Outlook; an assertive personality, honest and of high integrity, committed to moral standards and keen to attention to detail with commitment to quality reports.
Monitoring, evaluation and Learning Officer
Job Summary
This is responsible with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities at the District and sub grantee level.
Job Description
The Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation Officer is responsible with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities at the District and sub grantee level in compliance to donor and WEI/Bantwana standards and protocols. S/he willmaintain regular internal data verification protocols, including regular data quality assurance site visits using standardized tools and protocols; coordinate data collection at the District level and monitor the quality and completeness of data for documenting project performance.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in implementing, monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems for USG-funded health and education programs; experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods; knowledge of USAID/PEPFAR standard indicators and reporting procedures; proficiency in relevant statistical software applications; fluent in English and Kiswahili; Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
